The first new element ties directly into gameplay and it’s one that we’re really thrilled about. In select missions during the solo campaign, players take control of female South Korean 707th covert operations expert “45.” Acting as the team’s primary form of reconnaissance, 45 slinks into various locales under the cover of night to capture valuable intel and sabotage enemy operations. Armed with silenced weapons and a handy stealth meter that lets players know how visible they are to hostile forces, 45 is a sneaky badass that adds a lot to the already-intense SOCOM 4 experience. We really think you’re going to enjoy playing her missions and we’re glad to finally let that secret out of the bag.

i dont understand why they have a female soldier in this game. i though socom was about realism. also its called Socom 4 US NAVY SEALS, there are no femals in the the SEALS, they arent allowed, and they also wouldnt fight along side one.

throwing in a girls soldier just makes it seem fake and like they want to be p.c.

Its ok man, a little bit of variety in characters won't hurt. Plus the girl actually looks proffessional, instead of the usual girls you see in video games *looks at bayonetta*.

im not against character variety, its just that its a war game, plus its Navy SEALs , there are no girls that have direct combat roles in our military, yet alone any girls in the SEALs. there is no way, not a chance that the seals would fight along with girls. iits just waayy too unrealistic. SEALs are the elite of the elite of the elite. they wouldnt be nearly as effective.

this just seems soo un-SOCOM like. i hope they use this girl like uncharted does (they do a great job in uncharted) not any direct combat. it would just take me out of the expierience to see her as competent as a SEAL

when I watch a movie and a person is getting shot at bye at least 30 guys, with machine guns and that person doesn't get hit once. I mean come on,how unreleastic is that.
