Yah except hopefully this time their will be democracy and friendliness with the West. Or how about when America freed Afghanistan that way.

I think he was refering to the "Bay of Pigs" invasion.  Where the CIA took a bunch of anti-castro people, trained them, equipped them... and then sent them back...

Results = not good.

Yah but they were planning an invasion. Half of Libya is already against Gaddafi. All the US needs to do is train some of them and equip them with guns. Let them bring down the regime. This time I think it would be successful.
