PS4 could launch at $500. Sony are going to stick with Blu-ray because downloadable games and other content will become a much bigger part of the industry. So they won't have a new physical medium with a high entry price to push. So I can't see them stuffing the PS4 with $500 worth of new processing capacity. I suspect a 1TB HDD, or 300GB SSD won't be too expensive either.
