The only thing that I still have issues with is the fact that the game seems to have too much of an arcade feel to me, I hope it hasnt lost its sense of realism because this is what made socom games so much fun, how grounded of an experience it was.  I really want to like this game to, so heres to hoping, and this video definitely improved my outlook.

this is my favorite vid of socom i think it pretty awesome shows it alittle less arcadey little more realistic. Also its the first level i think so spoiler alert.

OT- not bad. still getting it just need a sharpshooter and game.

That is a good vid, but im telling you I cant shake this feeling.  Is it the character design?  The level design?  I dont know if this socom game is gonna cut it, I was hoping for a much more military oriented approach instead of a call of duty/bad company style of single player campaign.  I think it is a combination of the character designs and choice of levels, zipper couldve really nailed this one had they stuck to their military operations scheme from previous entries and gone the much more realistic route, but instead they decided to mainstream this one.  I cant blame them from a financial standpoint, but this still seems like a bit of a copout to me.
