Well, one could say that nostalgy plays a part on the feeling we have for those games, but since playing NSMB, I can´t help but remember how I felt playing the original in SNES, just as with DK. DK was the first game I actually finished, since I have the bad habit of not finishing my games. And OoT I played in a friends 64, along with Goldeye and Mario 64 and it´s vivid in my mid the feelings I got playing them. I actually recomend that you try DKC and OoT, if you can emulate them on PC. Amazing games. |
Yes I must say NSMBW was a lot of fun to play, especially splitscreen with at least one other person. I guess partly I'm just hating on Nintendo because I've always been a Playstation guy and I don't have Nintendo nostalgia.
I really wish I had played Ocarina of Time back when it was new. The first time I played it was actually about a year ago which is kind of sad, and its not the same playing it 10 or so years late.
