Nothing is ever truly "hack proof". The best you can get it making it really, really difficult to hack by shifting encryption quick enough between cycles before it can be deciphered.
What I'd like to see is how it would be achieved. I can't think of any way to make a re-iteration of the PS3 hack proof while the master key is about. If anything, it would invalidate all PS3 software currently on the shelves.
Sony really should have silently brought fixes in, instead of boasting about it. There's nothing more rewarding to hackers than hacking a console that somebody dubs "hack proof".
