Recently started over the Wheel of Time series again, as I stopped reading it for a while once I got to the 10th book, and figured it didn't do it much justice to just start again without really knowing what's going on.
Just finished the 2nd book (The Great Hunt), and have gotten a decent start on the 3rd book (The Dragon Reborn) in the last couple of days. Something about the balance between everything in this series just makes me absolutely adore it. The magic is absolutely fascinating, the relationships are marvelous (although I think they do get much better later on in the series), and other than the occasional wishing the series wasn't quite so long, I really do think its a masterpiece.
I sincerely hope that the 12th, 13th, and 14th books (which are written/to be written by Brandon Sanderson due to Robert Jordan's death), aren't too significant of a change in the series, as it really would be a let down to have the end of the series be so much different.
After I finish up on the currently written portion of this series, I'm intending on reading:
A Song of Ice and Fire
The Saga of Recluce
Harry Potter 1-7 (re-reading 1-6, have not yet read #7)
Along with a lot of others, but I seem to go on spurs where I will read 25-50 pages per day (such as now) and then times where I will go a couple months without reading...I'm hoping I can keep on my current pace because I have soooooo many books I want to read :)
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
