Ok i've finally played the demo and i although it wasnt as good as i was hoping i'm still going to buy it.
I couldnt help feel the combat to repetative towards the end of the demo, i was playing as a male rogue and tapping X constantly and the combat started to feel slightly boring, and theres no real feel of contact with your sword swipes. Unlike a game like demon souls, when your swing your blade and contact you feel the blow and you feel like you've hit your target, your swords stops in its motion as it hits the target and the target jolts back or falls to the floor. In this your just swinging like mad, blood is going everywhere but it doesnt feel like your actually hitting the target. Also if you adjust your camera angle it doesnt even look like your swipes are even reaching your target although there life still reduces and blood shoots everywhere.
The voice acting is ok and the European and various English accents suit the setting well.
I am looking forward to buying the game and playing it and im hoping the story and setting of the game will be enough to keep me engrossed like Dragon Age:origins did. i might even start to like the combat but im just comparing it to a game where the combat is almost done to perfection.
