I don't believe people's trouble with the Wii are sales, after all the only ones who care about those are shareholders and Nintendo themselves. What worries people is that the Wii is barely seeing new games anymorea nd less so new good games. Even if sales miraculously start getting better, the SW problem won't be resolved. And with Nintendo shifting focus to the 3DS and possibly Wii 2, Wii support will be in life support (pun intended). 3rd parties just don't care anymore. It wasn't as bad at the beginning of the gen but now it's terrible. A console with 85 million users that barely sees new relevant releases is a tragic happening. Meanwhile the "loser" consoles are getting tons of new games every month and are also outselling the "leader". Wii is in a horrible position, you can't deny it.

Well I look at it this way, if Nintendo really is shifting support to Wii 2, they will have a brand new console with revitalized library with probably much better third party support. If not, then that means they continue to make games for Wii and thus sales improve again. So we'll be seeing more Nintendo games in one way or another.

I don't think Nintendo is anywhere near done with Wii support. They still have a lot of potential in motion plus and Vitality Sensor games, and hopefully they are wise enough to make use of them. If they just continue to supply the quality games that appeal to a wide range of people, the sales will come.
