To be fair they have rehashed the same controller 3 generations now.

Don't fix something that isn't broken.  You can't milk a good controller.  I feel like the Dualshock is part fo the Playstation at this point, it's damn near perfect. 

They don't need to fix much just put real triggers on it.  I just can't comprehend why they didn't. 

Fair enough lol.  I just don't subscribe to the whole "have to change your controller every gen" thing.  It's worked just fine for Sony, more than fine in fact.
