What exactly is the story behind this having to do anything with the PSN? I've been following this stuff and there's nothing about that apart from people circumventing the version check for the login (which wouldn't be the first time this has been done at all), and that simply allows them to be on the network without upgrading to 3.56. It doesn't give you admin status on the PSN, neither allows you to do anything special. Last I heard they couldn't even sync their fake trophies.
