That's fine, just please understand that what I'm worried about is if Sony's indeed incapable of solving this issue. Now you argue that it's Sony's fault for leaving a flaw in the system's security.

If geohot was the good guy he claims to be (which, based on his history, is debatable), he would NOT put such a system breaking code in the hands of the wrong people. That is why I'm not supporting him.

I honestly have no company or console allegiance. I'll just play and prefer the console that provides me the most entertainment.

1. You're not supporting him because what he's doing could potentially ruin your gaming experience.

2. You're judging as being a bad person for releasing something that could potentially ruin your gaming experience.

 

The problem here is that you're not just "not supporting him", you are actively speaking out against him! Don't you think the time for fanboy tomfoolery is over and some of you people here need to smack yourself round the face with a fish and relise this is more than...

First of all, you clearly didn't read my previous posts. Second of all, drop the attitude. This isn't youtube.

I already said I'm not supporting Sony in this case, and I repeat for the 100th fucking time, if they, or any company use this as an excuse to take away rights from the people or me in how we use their product, I will toss their products away and never buy from them until they revise their tactics, and I stand by these words.

Grow up, and stop nitpicking or putting words in my mouth. Just because I'm not on Geohot's side, doesn't mean I'm on Sony's.

Maybe when games on PSN run similarly to what we see on the PC, I wouldn't mind. Until then, no thanks. Running into a douche or two in an online game, I can bear. But to unban yourself, and possibly get others framed (granted this is true)? A bit too much.
