This is very true when your Hardware is un-profitable >_>; Of course software makes up the majority of the money, but when your profiting on the hardware, each unit sold is potential for memory sticks, umd's, and games >_> The PSP won't just start losing more money... it's got a user base that's constantly growing, and as long as Sony keeps making money per unit sold, I don't think they care how much software is sold. If they are out of the red, things can only look up.
And with skype comming to the psp :P I can only immagine it's install base getting bigger and bigger xD
