I dunno. If you're not big on FPS then I assume you're not big on FPS online multiplayer either. That being the case if you want a great FPS for the SP campaign my understanding is the Orange Box or Bioshock are the FPS games to get. I rented KZ2 one time and took turn about playing the SP game with a friend. I didn't bother renting a 2nd time to finish the SP campaign. Gameplay was fine for a FPS, but FPS isn't my thing.
The only FPS game I own is Resistance: FOM and that only because I saw it used in a store for a ridiculously low price and bought it on impulse. I've had it for over a year and not even made it half way through. Though my son and nephew completed it in a day playing split screen coop. They liked it. So it was worth buying.
