Stupid and childish. Unless she was killing something/herself or fire, etc, there was no reason to destroy the door. If you were my kid I would woop your ass and make you do some awesome physical labor to buy the new materials, then install/paint it all. (Granted, unless you have a major compelling reason to desperately need to get inside.)
