My 80GB PS3 died a few weeks back. I ordered a new slim from amazon with the $50 credit. I couldnt be happier. I really like the slim. Smaller, lighter and the fan is quieter, plus the PS3 slim has buttons...for some reason I like buttons better, not sure why. My only negative, which goes for every PS3, is that there is NOT a USB prot in the back. Seems obvious that there should be at least 1 USB port in the back pf the system.
