Oh COME ON. The game's f*cking creator is calling it GTA4, so it's called GTA4.

 What about GTA: Liberty City Series and GTA: Vice City Series? And don't forget GTA: London 1969 and GTA: London 1961! GTA Advanced also existed!

 IT'S THE 11TH GTA GAME!!! 9TH if you don't count the mission packs (London 1969 & 1961).
