I haven't made an official comparison chart, but it appears that Kinect sales are beginning to drop pretty quickly too.

Kinect has been dropping by by 10-30K every week in sales.  Kinect certainly had great start but it is no longer selling in comparable amounts to a console system.  At this rate, Kinect will be below 100K worldwide  in 1-2 weeks.  Microsoft needs decent games to release just as badly as Wii does.

Kinect relied heavily on a huge early advertising budget.  It remains to be seen if it will sustain the sales that it had before-- especially now that all the live demos have been pulled.

Shocking stuff, sales dropping after the holidays.

Lets ignore even with sales dropping its still going strong in the top 10.

It won't be in the top 10 for long though at this rate.  Look at the week on week declines.  MS bragged that Kinect was the fastest selling consumer electronic device ever-- the sales have also fallen just as fast.  Kinect was selling record levels and it has quickly fallen off even lower than Wii sales which have had a terrible post-Christmas decline.  So you can't explain it all away with your post-Christmas rationalization.  Kinect stock is readily available right now and it is not selling out-- this is not a Wii phenomenon we are looking at.  The Wii continued to remain out of stock after its first holiday season for over a year.

I personally do believe that Kinect is slightly eating into Wii sales.  However, I don't really think Kinect is a Wii-killer.  Nintendo is killing itself right now by not having any game releases for the 1st half of 2011.

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D
