I love the game. Nah, it's not perfect, but it's still a blast. I've actually put over 50 hours into it, far more than I've put into Galaxy even.
About the complaints...
I've noticed like maybe 3 or so spots where the frame-rate drops enough to effect the gameplay, and it's usually just a second or two.
I can't recall one spot in the game where I went 30 seconds without seeing an enemy.
The moving camera/view can be frustrating at times, but it's like any other thing that makes a game more challenging. As long as there isn't cheap stuff going on in a game, it doesn't bother me much. Personally, I feel the moving cam/view allows me to immerse myself into the game that much more.
Ammo wasn't much of an issue for me. I ran low a few times, but would just have to blow through one of the earlier missions to get it back up. I'd always try to play through as much as I could with just the pistol, so maybe that's why I didn't have much of a problem running low.
