I'm not sure about that case, but I know there was a movie where you can push a button to kill one random person you don't know in the world, or something along those lines, and how it will eventually effect your life.

I'm talking about a movie where two women (I think) are drunk and talk about killing eachother's husbands, but one of them is crazy and thinks they were serious. She kills the other woman's husband, and then expects her to come through and kill her husband. I think they copied Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train", which had a similar plot (don't know why that wasn't the first film to come into my mind).
