(and i think move will win) also we all know move will win the next round to tie it up. i dont like that every time LP talks about the kinect, he always talks about the prospect of it, want it can potentially do, what he thinks it might do eventually, never what it can and does do. and again he says move is just a wii HD because it looks and plays similar to the wiimote. i dont get it, does he want them to have a completely random design like a pyramid or an octagon, of course its gonna look similar to the wii, you cant just make a non functional design just to say its different. all motion controller will look a play like that. just like all standard controls look and play similarly. xbox wouldnt just make a giant disk shaped controller, with 3 giant square mesh buttons, just to be different than the Dualshock, of course it looks similar and controlls in a similar fashion. also if move is nothing new and a wii HD, how come he doesnt make that same claim for the kinect to eyetoy. both of these products are natural evolutions of existing tech and products. kinect plays similarly to eyetoy and MOve plays similarly to wii and eyetoy edit: i also dont like that he said that move was just made in reponse to the kinect and that he doesnt believe that it was in development before it. all it takes is a quick google search to find out that move demoed on the ps2 in the early 2000's, years before anyone even knew about the wii. with all the tech detail he goes into, you would think that would be one of the easiest things to find out, i guess i just dont like non backed up biassed opinions |
The bolded show that you have no right to make any claim against the Kinect, the Kinect being compared to the eyetoy is a complete joke. It has nowhere near the technical innovate that the Kinect provides, SO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP MAKING THIS COMPARISON. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.
