You know, to be fair, Libretarians somehow always are overrepresented their, and in other polls.  Haha reminds me of the Republican primary debates where they had to turn it off the polls because Ron Paul was winning by like 60% and Chris Matthews was all "No he fucking didn't!  He's not going to win! Shut up!"  Which since it's Chris Matthews, that may of been an actual quote.

I guess If votes were weighted by enthusiasm libretarians would win every time.  Guess it's an easy political theory to be enthusasitc about though since it's pretty much the only one that has almost zero contradictions.

I have noticed quite often that the most informed people in most political discussions tend to be libertarians, and I have wondered whether libertarians tend to put in the effort to inform themselves or if being informed is more likely to make someone a libertarian.

Unfortunately, the uninformed masses out number those that bother to inform themselves; and most elections (regardless of whether it is a primary or a general election) tend to become popularity contests.

They're more motivated to represent their views in these smaller political venues where a dedicated group of people can dominate the discourse, in the hope that dominating the discourse of these relatively-small-yet-highly-visible venues will in turn give greater credence to their own views within the party. If the average party man sees this, perhaps Ron Paul will get some badly-needed bandwagon appeal, or so the thinking goes

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
