I don't see the tablet market collapsing. My personal experience is that the people that I've witnessed buying tablets use them much more than I ever thought they would. There is so much content available for tablets, books movies, games, magazines, web, apps, plus being able to do email and video conferencing. All these things will keep the tablet market moving.

3DTV is dying because of glasses and no content. It makes life more complicated and can't do much. The complete opposite of the tablets.

I am not saying that tablet market will die, but that a lot of players will be pushed out of the market.

Tablets are not a cheap purchase so its not an impulse buy. People will most likely research what they buy. There are 20 android tablets coming out and 10 windows 7 ones in the near future. Blackberry playbook, Webos from HP as well... Which ecosystem are people going to choose? Furthermore, even within an ecosystem like Android, how does one decide between Samsung Galaxy tab and Motorolla Xoom for example?
