While the NGP will (certainly) have more and more titles as it approaches release, I think people who expect most of the big NGP titles to be announced at E3 don't really remember most of Sony's platform releases. From what I recall of the PS2, PSP and PS3 releases, most of the big titles for the first 12 to 18 months were announced before E3, and various levels of invormation had been released about them leading up to E3. With the PS2 in particular, I remember looking at pictures of PS2 games before the Dreamcast released in North America ...
