Just as a side note ...

I`ve seen in this thread, and on several other threads, about how the next generation of consoles needs to be held off due to escalating development costs; and that people can wait 5 years for these console manufacturers to produce far more powerful systems. These two thoughts are simply not compatible because, throughout the history of videogame development, the cost of developing a videogame is directly related to the amount of processing power efficiently utilized in the game; and whether you go from a platform that is 8 to 10 times as powerful as the HD consoles to a system that is 64 to 100 times as powerful, or just go to the system that is 64 to 100 times as powerful directly, the cost of developing a game to take advantage of that system of the future will remain the same (except you may not have the experience of managing the budgets of games on that system that was 8 to 10 times as powerful to help you control the development cost on the really high end system).

There are only two ways to control escalating development budgets; work with out-dated/obsolete hardware (which was an offensive concept just a couple of years ago when it was suggested to these developers and gamers when it came to the Wii), or learn to utilize the hardware and manage the scope of the game at a level which is justified based on realistic expectations of game sales.
