Nowadays metacritic hardly matters as it has been proven by Killzone 3 itself; they have weighted averages which can push down or up the scores of a game depending on the reviewer. If IGN and gamespot didn't give this game so low then it would have been much higher on metacritic because I am sure they are considered as important.
