Killzone 2 had quite a bit going for it. THE supposed killer app for the PS3. The graphical powerhouse that would make the 360 look like it wasn't even trying. The game that PS3 fanboys would harp at the top of the metaphoric lungs that their cause was justified. The game that would make Sony hugely relevant and the front runners in this seventh generation of consoles' race for Halo/Call of Duty killer. and more.
Killzone 3 was destined to be the game few cared about because its predecessor, for lack of a better way of putting it, didn't deliver on everything and a bag of chips. It seems that folks care less about Move support, 3D support, and an overall big and better Killzone 2 when Killzone 2 was supposed to be the end of for the FPS genre. Why care about the sequel to the most promising game in recent memory when that promising game is not as relevant anymore?
Killzone 2 was more a idea and a movement than a game. Killzone 3 is more or less a game and a solid one in its own right but it will never pull the gravity its predecessor did.
Pixel Art can be fun.
