it just depends on tastes really
i dont think any gens can capture the magic of previous gens, maybe nintnedo games, but im also pretty biased towrad nintendo games. as far as non-ninty games, i prefer older games vs. newer ones. i think a lot of games now are emulating movies, which can be good, but makes games feel emptier to me.
