You attacked israel out of nothing when they had their biggest holyday, if that is called a succses..

From what I understand by success they mean that in that war they didn't get completely demolished. It was gaining back a bit of honour after being roundly thrashed in the six day war.

Either way, it's in the past now and should stay there. Egypt and Israel not being at war is in my opinion one of the most important diplomatic agreements in the Mid East.
