I will stick to this Gen:

Final Fantasy 11: 7/10

My first online RPG. I would have enjoyed it far more if it weren't that hardcore and timeconsuming. The latest update sounds pretty interesting, maybe I will come back and finish the last few story missions.

Eternal Sonata: 8/10

It was a nice game. 1 bonus point for coop gameplay.

Final Fantasy XIII 10/10

Great Story and realisitc Characters. Best game of this generation for me so far. Don't know why it is so heavily criticized in the US.

Sacred 2: 4/10

500 Sidequests ensure repetition and the main Story quest was awful.

DeathSpank 1 2: 5/10

Again a boring main Story quest and repetitive sidequests. 1 bonus point for the sense of Humour.

Borderlands: 6/10

Good Coop-Gameplay. Awful Main Story and repetitive sidequests.

White Knight Chronicles: 7/10

Nice Story. The Online Part was fun for many hours, but low drop rates killed it on the higher Guild Ranks. Looking firward to WKC 2 though.

Dragon Age: 4/10

I just couldn't stand this decision/moral system. It destroyed the pacing and I always felt that I could miss something if I would choose a "wrong" decision. So I never came to a enjoy the game. Had the same problem with the Mass Effect 2 demo....

Oblivion: 2/10

I hope noone takes this personal, but after 30 hours of pure boredom and wondering how such a game could be "game of the year" I had to quit playing... I have never been so dissapointed with a game because it got great reviews everywhere. It was the pure opposite of what I like about RPGs... I didn't like the "silent" main character with no personality, the storytelling through dialogues with monotone speech (I played the german version), the awful main story countless sidequest system, the leveling system, the action-based fighting system, the moral system, the first person view...

Conclusio: It seems that I can enjoy Japanese Console RPGS far more than western pc-rpgs. In Fact, after disliking Dragon Age, Oblivion and Mass Effect 2 I can safely say that I do not like pc-style RPGS at all.
