1. That's like asking would I rather do Sofia Vergera or Carmen Electra. I say this cuz it won't be the 'same' game. I will play it on both! Different experiences.

2. I will buy the ps3 for the games only playable on it, so far the exclusives have not disappointed me

3. 110? :S wait wha? Are you adding the price of two games? If the game is different I will buy both. If it's the same depends on the game. I played Tekken DR more than Tekken 5 and 6 combined for example.

There you go, my answer. It's not fighting against the ps3, they are making it so it will 'compliment' the home console as well. I think this problem is only in your head at the moment. We saw NEW games of IPs like KZ, UC and R WITH new IP like Gravity Daze, Broken etc. If you're a fan of KZ for example, you will play both versions cuz they are different games.  I played ALL GOW games and loved them all!

PSP has MANY amazing casual friendly games too, they haven't sold on the same level of some games you mentioned. So what's the issue there?

i've seen lots of talk and exitement saying how you can save your game and using psn load your saved game and just satrt playing it on the go.  so essentially having uncharte 3 on ngp and uncharted 3 on ps3.

now if they are totally different games, then thats different, but was referring to them being exact same.  Which i doubt sony woudl do, but i can see a lot of developers doing.  The same with Wii/3DS being same roughly graphically, with NPG and 360/ps3 being roughly same, i imagine basically direct ports, even if released same time.

so comes down to the consumer going.  Hmm do i want to buy the new call of duty for my ps3, 360 or my ngp.  they will not buy it for all 3.  that is my point.  by having a handheld the same as the consoles it puts itself in competition with itself.  I'm sure sony will try to make a differnet game for each.  but fact is based on past its handheld is basically spinoffs of its mains on the console.  Nintendo has different offering all together.  Nintendo has spinoffs on wii of handheld games, and vise versa.  sony has only spinoff in one direction, from console to handheld.

not sure where you got the idea from, BUT all the UC, KZ and R games announced are NEW games. The talk of playing games at home and taking it on the go when you go out might be what you are referring to. To some, that will be a very good thing, like me who have stay out a lot. But it's all speculation at this point. Facts are all games announced are NEW games.

There is a big market of consumers who travel a lot, for them a COD on the go will be an awesome thing.Spin offs are good, they are NEW games, not direct ports. Good example, Dexter! One of the best games/spin offs of all time imho. They are different.

If you look at the 3ds line up, aren't most games 'direct' ports of console games? SF, Zelda, Cave Story etc? As of now, the problem of ports are with 3ds from what we know now.
