as said lets see who is right between me and psrock Sony did not change its games from PSP, but did change its controls. So lets see if this dual analog is what the psp truly was missing or if as i believe its missing the key component to handheld systems. Handheld focused games. A home console game just on a portable is not a different experience. well actually it kind of is, and its never better. there is a reason those games are on consoles and not on handhelds. i didn't buy a handheld cause i'm so addicted to GTA that i need my fix when not at home. I buy a handheld so i can play professor layton, or elite beat agents or pokemon. I myself have made the mistake as well of buying games or remakes/ports that i LOVED on the console for my handheld and guess what? they sit on my shelf and never get played. same as on home console, there have been games i loved on my handheld that bought similar games on console and not liked at all. uncharted was a great game on the ps3, but i for the life of me can't imagine wanting to play that on a handheld at all. |
I buy the PSP because of these games:
Jeanne D'Arc, Patapon, Crisis Core, MH, Final Fantasy Dissidia, Daxter, GTA CHINATOWN (amazing game), Syphon Filter, MDG5 and there are way more. Those are games made for the PSP, great games but they still were missing that great control they will find on the NGP.
You keep saying people don't want a console game on a handheld yet, SMB is at 20 million plus on both the DS and the Wii. Mario Kart sells great on both handheld and console. You will find tons of Wii games on the DS.
What the PSP is missing is casual games which Sony was not going for, it has nothing to do with handheld or console. Nothing.
