Hmmmm.
On the one hand, yeah, solid point.
Other hand, kind of an obnoxious, confrontational writer that makes it difficult to read.
But most imporantly: fucking wait until we see how Crysis 2 sells first. Yeah, pirates are shitty. But how many of them would have bought the game anyway? If you're planning on paying for a game, you'll pay for it. If you're planning on pirating it, you'll pirate it. I don't think this leak is any more damaging then any other inevitable closer-to-release date leak.
Piracy/theft/etc has been around forever. Shipping merchants might lose two out of every three ships to pirates, but the 3rd more than makes up for that. Same with games--just factor the "damage" (yet to see anything that shows its as substantial as its often made out) into your projections.
But yeah, pirates are usually immature/immoral/stupid. Oh well, lots of people are.
