In Canada, Pirating games isn't downloading them, it's the process of uploading them or the process of downloading with the intent of redistribution. Me being Canadian I'm fine with that law since it punishes people that make money off of someone elses product. I don't support pirating but I do play pirated games for free, mostly games that I already own a copy of.
