Nice review and interesting read. The control changes will be okay tailoring for the casual can make the game great for just having fun which is all we do with MvC2 now.
That said... [fanboy mode]You mention about the characters, having 38 is a great figure for any game but when the last game as 50, like you say, I feel a bit hard done by. Less of a diverse line up at the exchange of graphics. It's good there are new characters though (except X-23) that weren't in MvC2 but the lack of some extremely popular character from both Capcom and Marvel can be striking. Especially when we get Ryu and Akuma but no Guile or Wolverine and Murder Girl and no Cyclops or Nightcrawler. The omittion of Guile and Cyclops being my biggest concern. Lets hope they release new character on DLC for 10p each.[/fanboy mode]
