 How many PS3 games have you actually played? If youre discussing games like madden or PES, then yes, the games are just prettier versions of the former with added extras due to extra space. But, games like uncharted, although they could be done on the PS2, would have been extremely limited. The increased abilities of the PS3 allow the developers to incorporate alot more into their games.

 


 What things in it changed the nature of the game in a way that made it something that the PS2 couldn't do?
