Basically that's whay I was saying xD except I'm sure it's going to be some propietary storage format so you can't just plug in a thumb drive instead.


Seeing as they are retailing for $10 there won't be anything that advanced in the figurines. They will probably just contain magnets or something similar in order for the portal to identify what it is.

The figurine will just be a key to unlock a character that is already on the game disk/update patch.

I see... wait a minute... weren't promotional figures Ubisoft's Idea to curb piracy and used games (on ACII)? Gah, The gaming industry is depressing me with the widespread lack of originality in the majority of it...
