Microsoft published Gears right? Made by someone else, but published by Microsoft(like Mass Effect) I think.

Doesnt matter, like Tecmo (i think it was) with ninja gaiden sigma and ninja gaiden there are always ways apparently. Gears has full ownership of the title. It is their choice to stay exclusive. MS doesnt own the franchise.
