whats sad is all America cares about is that they keep their to their treaties with Israel.. its rather pathetic. New leadership and change in government should equal all old agreements are void.

That's not practical in the least.  That would actually be an extremely stupid way to start off your country and basically set it up for ruin from the start as you'd be far to stretched politically to do shit internally.

Any smart government would ignore all foreign policy issues until the domestic issues are addressed and they make sure they have a strong foundation.

I agree, hence why ignoring all agreements in the region, and not doing what the US wants, would benefit them hugely.

Not when Egypt relies heavily on the US for aid and trade. Egypt also has good relations with several US allies. Disregarding the peace treaties would most definatly lead to repurcutions. Also a war would hardly be a good way to start a Government. It's smart for the Egyptian Government to honour current agreements.

P.S - I don't think everyone in the west is more concerned that the Egyptian Government holds to its agreements. They are mostly concerned for Egypts welfare human rights and yes the idea of not seeing tens of thousands of egyptians die getting their asses whiped by Israel.
