Almost 3 years later and some people still don't understand why PSP failed... |
I like this system. Of course, there will need to be tradeoffs to have it smaller than the PSP-2000. Obviously, the battery will have to be a separate unit, about as large as the PSP itself. That should provide an hour of battery life.
And Sony would have to find a good price point for this new system, one that doesn't lose them too much money. One that makes people think "I will work harder to buy one." I think people will be willing to get two jobs to save up for a PSP2. Better start working that second job, leo-j.
Of course, a 720p screen that is smaller than the current PSP screen would require an astounding 300 DPI. Sony will have to spend billions on research to provide such an amazing screen. Sony would of course, never get this money back, as they would have to sell the unit at a considerable loss in order for people to actually buy it (is this sounding familiar, anyone?). It's a good thing Sony is such a nice charitable company, willing to throw money away in order to provide us with such an amazing entertainment unit.
Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!
