Hey, Harry Potter is a very entertaining and decent fantasy book. Don't you dare insult it!!!

I read all 7 or 8 or however many there are of them, I can't believe I managed it you know. And the only reason I did was because my mum was reading them and I had nothing else to do, literally.

Check out Karen Miller - Innocent Mage and Awakened Mage. Also Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, much better fantasy books than the Potter :p

There are 7 of them. I read them because I kept gettign them as presents. They were actually better than I expected, though the first ones were hard to read (they were essentially kids books).

I'm not a huge fan of the fantasy genre, so I'm not sure if I'll check out the books you reccomended. My personal favorite fantasy series is the His Dark Materials trilogy.

Shame you don't like fantasy as it's my favourite genre lol.
