I wildly prefer Bluray in most cases. I noticed that regular DVD's are fuzzy and don't look nearly as good on an HD-TV. However I note that not every scene in some movies are in High Def, I noticed fuzz in a few films though that might just be their artistic direction or the camera's their using.

For me when I saw the FBI warning at the beginning of my first BluRay I went holy crap this image is sharp. I have compared my Blurays to DVD and they are vastly superior. However I own alot of DVD's and since my BluRay player plays DVD's I won't be rebuying the films in BluRay.

So yah I can watch DVD's they aren't horrible. But I don't buy them anymore they in my mind just aren't worth the money when I can get a BluRay for 5 bucks more.
