If they deliver on these things, I'm sold. I need a tablet and laptop like machine for non gaming purposes and this looks like it will do.

I'm not sure Brazos has a tablet form factor version yet. Maybe 2012's Bobcat will.

Since you're using it as a tablet I think the choice of Intel/Windows is OK actually. 3 hours is hardly portable though, especially if it takes an hour or more to charge.

Most laptops are around that mark when it comes to battery life. Tablets should be more but windows tablets are strugling with that so far. The only other PC tablet which caught my eye is the samsung sliding PC 7.

Looks great, 8 hour battery, light and somewhat portable. But standard gaming on that will be impossible and its $699 to boot
