@greenmedic thats kind of what i was getting at, yes Advance Wars is a portable only franchise but it wasnt like there were no game like it on consoles. I love that game but it was just a simplied RTS. There are a few of those on consoles and even more on PC. Now Brain Age is a game more unique on portables, but we didnt see those kind of games till DS and that is really recent.
I agree with the MGS statement. Some people have a stigma of portables for some reason, even though you can buy a core(cheap too) that will plug right into your damn TV so you can play on the big screen. I think some people are just cheap
