I've been balding since high school...it sucks.
Actually, I was thinking about this the last week. In middle school and early high school I had incredibly thick bright red hair, now I have incredibly think borderline blonde barely red hair.
I started thinking about this because our producer a few weeks ago made the mandate all red heads must grow beards. I have no idea why but that was his mandate. I joked about it to my wife because I simply can't grow a beard. I get some patches of red, some peach fuzz, and, well it just looks awful BUT I also hadn't tried in like 10 years.
So the wife gave me permission to be a slob and not shave. This actually worked out since I was pretty much at home all last week because of the weather.
So I come to work with my weeks worth of fuzz...and it looked awful. One guy thought I had just ate some chili and smeared a bunch on my face. I joked about it to my producer and he said it was already since I was barely a red head.
