Somebody would've already caught up with them had these been de-facto PC fan favorite genres... well, they at least would in H&S, GT is tougher to crack...

lol, what you said is true though, I have yet to see a  hack and slash on the PC, last gen there was Prince of persia and stuff, this gen PoP took a back seat and Assassins Creed is not exactly H&S, and even then I don't think the PC version looks better than GoW3...

My initial point remains though. Comparing PC and consoles is just ridiculous. You can compare them when it comes to quality, but graphics is a horsepower thing and consoles don't evolve like PC does.
