$300 is still a high price.
PS3 at $599 was a AMAZING DEAL. Blu-ray the most powerfull processor on the market.
But who cared? It had a elevate price.
Sony is making a loss for the expectation of not having to drop down the price too much in the future....but probably when the sales go down, they will be obligated to slash the price to remain competitive.
