I'm guessing he meant how come LBP1 was 3 stars, and now LBP2 is 2 stars - what made it easier? Personally I think it's a good and fair decision. Platinum came alot faster around this time. But on this note I'm just generally curious what is the usual procedure that you take to determine the star rating of a game? Like what research might you do, whose opinion you may take? Because I'm assuming you can't play every single game there is and determine yourself? |
I didn't find too much of a difference in terms of difficulty in acing levels between the two games, but getting all of the prize bubbles in LBP2 was a lot easier than in 1. That's not to mention that the trophies for 24 hours create mode and 5 hours playing community levels have workarounds that leave them easy to obtain (you don't need to even be there or paying attention). Plus, you don't even need to play the 160 levels, since you can simply go in, rate it and then leave (you needed to finish 150 levels in LBP1).
The only trophies that are a pain in both are the ones that depend on other players. The 50 unique players one in LBP2 is across all levels, as was Create in LBP1. The trophy for acing 10 story levels in a row has a workaround, too, but it's still challenging enough.
