Who is to say they can't just expand the current capabillities of the Wii mote in the Next Gen. Right now the Wiimote can tell you what direction it is in, where, and how fast it's moving. What I am thinking they could improve on is to make the Wiimotes aware of where they are in relation to the person that is holding them. Make them aware of how tightly they are being held. I see that whole area being covered simply by adding one more motion sensor that could clip onto your shirt, then have all the Wii mote information relay where they are in relation to that new motion sensor. (I don't know if I explained that well enough though). Also, matching the PS3 processing power is something that might be out of the question. Afterall, the PS3 "cell" was designed to be 2 leaps forward in technology. (a half assed 2 leaps). I can see the Wii2 being a bit stronger than the 360 in the next generation though. Atleast in Processing power. It will also have a better graphics card in there. They will also probably predict your outrage at it's not matching the Processing power and make the graphics card a lot better to compensate. That is my vision of the Wii2. Although I doubt they will make a name like that. Nintendo has never put a 2 in front of any of their console names.
