in all honesty in case the OP is serious with the thread

they havent and imo will not continue to release em as frequent b/c its just a add on or controller in this case, since when did anyone start releasing sales data for ad ons? the PS eye has been out since 07 how much shipment data do we have for it?

Since a concurrent released their succesfull add on numbers....

i dont think sony will continue to announce Move shipments regardless of how good or bad they are

im not sure if MS will continue to give monthly announcements either

the reason why i dont think sonys will is b/c as already mentioned its just a controller and theres no need to brag or announce shipments for it, even if they were greater than kinect i still believe they wouldnt be announcing shipments for it months after release, which is fine by me im not interested in an ad ons shipments im more interested in console shipments or future SW announcements

also b/c sony or even Nintendo arent like MS where they need to constantly report shipments or get on twitter and brag, if you remember when sony released the slim and they had the best NPD for sep. there was no major announcement pre NPD release, and i dont remember Nintendo ever going on twitter saying the had the best  NPD out of all for any particular month

and if MS continues to announce them every month or so i wont get the point about half are bundled with there HW

I was content with just watching this thread for the drama of it all, and then you reeled me in...

I had originally hoped that between the Move and Kinect, they would force Nintendo to bring out WiiHD or Wii2.  But after watching the response from the marketplace for the Move, i was worried it wouldn't happen.  Then the Kinect came out and did what i had hoped the Move was going to do(sell a crapload of units and systems).  The crazy part of this is that when confronted with the basic fact the the Move has only been a moderate success, Sony fanboys fall back on "It's not a contest" or "it's just a peripheral".  If Move was just a peripheral, there would not have been a launch or special games for it.  It would have just arrived at the stores and that was that.  Sony bet big on MOve toclose the gap with the consumer on the capabilities of the PS3.  Even though the Move actually does that, the public wasn't looking to add another piece to their already high system cost just to = Wii's capabilities.

My point is, if the Move had really moved, Sony would be talking up a storm about it.  Because they are in 3rd place again with a product launch, they are quiet about it.  It's not because they didn't try, it just isn't happening yet or never will....
